Absentee Voting
There are two important recent changes to Wisconsin Voting law that are still in effect
If you wish to request an absentee ballot by mail, you must request a ballot in writing. It is recommended that you complete an Application for Absentee Ballot (GAB-121). Printable, fillable versions of the form are available:
Copies of the Absentee Ballot Request (GAB-121) are also available at your municipal clerk’s office.
Same Mailing Applications for Voter Registration and an Absentee Ballot
You must be a registered voter to request an absentee ballot. You may register to vote and request an absentee ballot in the same mailing to your municipal clerk’s office. To check your current voter registration status in Wisconsin use the G.A.B. Voter Search.
